Refund policy
At Soulmaed, every piece is handcrafted and made especially for you after your order is placed. Since each garment begins production the moment your order is confirmed, we are unable to offer monetary refunds. What we do offer is a size exchange and store credit — because we genuinely want you to love what you receive.
A few things to keep in mind
We kindly ask that all requests be raised within 7 days of your order being delivered. This window allows us to address any concerns promptly while keeping our process fair for everyone.
To be eligible, items should be returned in their original condition — unworn, unwashed, with tags attached, and free of any odour, stains, or alterations. Each item in your order is considered independently, so if you have a multi-piece order, you are welcome to raise a request on individual items.
Please note that sale items, customised pieces, and any item for which a request has already been processed fall outside the scope of this policy.
Size Exchange
If the size isn’t quite right, we’d love to make it right.
You are welcome to exchange your piece for the same style in a different size, subject to the general eligibility conditions above. Each item is eligible for one exchange. If the size you need is currently unavailable, we will happily offer you store credit instead.
Sending it back to us
Ship it yourself — simply courier the item to us at your own cost using a trackable service, and share the AWB number with us within 24 hours of dispatch. Please ensure the item is sent within 5 days of your exchange being approved.
We can arrange a pickup — a convenience charge of ₹200 applies, which is collected before the pickup is scheduled.
Once we receive and inspect your item, your new piece will be crafted and dispatched within 7–10 working days. We will keep you updated every step of the way.
Return for Store Credit
We understand that sometimes a piece simply isn’t what you’d hoped for, and we want to make sure you still find something you love.
To initiate a return, simply write to us at care@soulmaed.com with your order details. Once we receive the item and complete our quality review, store credit will be issued to your account.
Your store credit
If you ship the item back yourself, you will receive the full item value as credit. If we arrange the pickup, a ₹200 logistics charge will be deducted from your credit. For orders with multiple items, the credit applies to the specific item returned.
Using your credit
Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and is sent as a digital code to your registered email address. It is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
When you shop using store credit, your new order is fully covered under our exchange and return policy — this fresh cycle applies for up to two consecutive credit orders. From the third order in a credit chain onward, size exchange remains available.
Our Quality Process
Every item that comes back to us is carefully inspected by our team within 2 working days of receipt. We will share the outcome with you within 48 hours of completing the review.
Should an item not meet our return conditions, we will let you know with photographs so you understand exactly what we found. The item will be returned to you, and unfortunately we will be unable to process a credit in that case.
If you feel our assessment was made in error, we welcome you to write to us within 48 hours of receiving our decision. A senior member of our team — separate from the original reviewer — will look into it and respond within 3 business days.
Received something unexpected?
If your order arrives with a manufacturing defect, a quality concern, or an item that doesn’t match what you ordered, please reach out to us within 48 hours of delivery at care@soulmaed.com or +91 7070700245. A photograph, a short video, and your order details will help us resolve this as quickly as possible.
We will arrange a replacement at no cost to you. If the exact piece is no longer available, the full value of your order will be issued as store credit with no deductions.
Please note that slight variations in colour, texture, and weave are a natural part of the handcrafting process and are not considered defects. If your garment measurements differ from our published size guide by more than 1 inch, however, we consider that a production concern and will resolve it with a complimentary replacement.
